Child welfare is my priority and I am only too aware of post separation abuse and tactics used by a difficult person in relation to children. I help you understand their behaviours, assist in effective communication, aid you in getting clarity, enabling you to make informed decisions rather than reactive, emotional and potentially damaging ones.
I understand the tactics of a difficult person, the twisting of events, outright lies, false allegations, threats and controlling behaviours. I guide you through documenting behaviours and highlighting to the Court in the most effective way.

Louise has spoken at The Royal Courts of Justice in their annual debate and was a keynote speaker at this years Royal Justice Council on "Trauma in the Family Court".
She is also a member of the Cafcass Family Forum, assisting in making improvements to the work they do with children and families.

MY STORY
I spent almost a decade of my life in what was originally labelled a "high-conflict" Family Court case. It took many years for professionals to recognise the reality. I qualified as a Master Divorce Coach and McKenzie friend, which has given me the opportunity to help people like you, find light at the end of the tunnel, something I once thought wasn’t possible.
I truly wish I’d known about divorce coaching as I now know it would’ve reduced my financial outlay and given me guidance and emotional support all the way. I had to deal with never ending allegations and accusations. The emails from his solicitors were overbearing and never ending and involvement of numerous professionals and court advisories was soul destroying. It was relentless! It took me 6 years to learn how to handle my case.
I don't want anyone else in this situation to journey the long way.
I learnt the hard way BUT I got clarity, took back my control, understood what was required and succeeded in getting the best possible outcome for our situation.

The term 'McKenzie friend', is a formally accepted legal term, incorporated in statutory instruments and official judicial guidance.
Nowadays the term covers people who generally help a Litigant in Person throughout the course of his/her litigation. This includes help with completing application forms, with correspondence, with devising strategies, with the preparation of statements, as well as undertaking the traditional aspect of accompanying the litigant to court.
